Human Resource Coordinator
Human Resources Coordinator assists with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department's functions and duties to support HR's role with Staffing, On-boarding, Co-op Program, Employee Engagement & Communication. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidential. Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines. High attention detail. A self-starter who can work both independently and on a team.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development. 1-3 years of experience is ideal. Ability to work a flexible schedule if needed.


+ Work closely with the Corporate Recruiter to source and pipeline top candidates

+ Post open positions internally and externally

+ Utilize recruitment tools and resources (I.e. LinkedIn, Indeed, Bullhorn)

+ Schedule candidates for phone screen and onsite interviews

+ Schedule and review Caliper Assessments


+ Serves as the project coordinator for on-boarding new employees

+ Arranges on-boarding logistics and presenters

+ Conducts pre-employment activities

+ Completes new hire paperwork

+ Surveys new hires for feedback on the on-boarding process

+ Schedule new hires check-in points at 30-60-90 days

+ Works with managers to ensure new hires have a good on-boarding and training experience

Co-op Program:

+ Coordinates the recruitment process of all Co-ops

+ Attends university career fairs during Spring and Fall recruitment seasons

+ Reviews resumes and schedules interviews for potentials candidates

+ Extends job offers to join the Kinze Co-op program

+ Assist candidates in finding housing accommodations

+ Plans and executes Co-op events and activities (i.e. BBQ, Bonfires, Cardboard Boat Races, Program Presentation, Tours, etc.)

Employee Engagement & Communication:

+ Plan and execute companywide employee engagement events

+ Company Newsletter "Blue Iron Press": Organize and interview for content, write articles, proof read for errors, take pictures, email, print and deliver to employees

+ Maintain the KZTV and update with new communications

General HR Duties

+ Employment verifications

+ Updating employee handbook

+ Maintain master HR calendar and 4 Up Charts

+ Employment visa requirements

+ Responds to employee questions with accurate and timely information

+ Conduct employee shop walks

+ Assist with FMLA Administration
