Sr. Buyer
Responsible for buyer planning and procurement of goods and services to facilitate manufacturing while ensuring cost, quality, and timely delivery. Develop and monitor relationships with Kinze supply base and oversee internal supply chain development, assisting when needed.

+ Electronics purchasing is not required, but a plus.

+ Execution of MRPs and Purchase Orders.

+ Servicing the manufacturing customer. Will do more than just buying.

+ Solicit, develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.

+ Negotiate with suppliers.

+ Monitor and be accountable for certain portions of new projects through the organization.

+ Recommend ways to streamline movement of materials and information through the supply chain

+ Assist with the resolution of quality, delivery, and accounting issues with suppliers

+ Expedite to a changing schedule.

+ Study market prices and trends, industry developments and manufacturing method improvements.

+ Identifies and meets with current and prospective suppliers to determine, supply capabilities, transportation logistics, inventory control management, negotiates prices and delivery terms

+ Follows environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with regulatory agencies

+ Implement ECO/ECN at supplier's level.

+ Potentially travel and interact with suppliers in one-on-one settings.

+ Issue Blanket Purchase Orders and negotiate Long-Term Service Agreements.

Proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and knowledge of MRP/ERP Software a must with Fourth Shift experience a plus. Must possess knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures along with good analytical skills and problem solving abilities. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications is required along with good organizational and negotiation skills.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related major or Equivalent Experience

+ 6+ years of related purchasing or supply chain experience

+ CPM/CPIM Certified or in process a plus
